The Judicial Diversity Committee is holding a seminar to encourage legal professionals from groups under represented within the judiciary to consider applying to become a judge.
Participants will hear from a sitting judge and a representative from the Judicial Appointments Commission. This will help participants:
- consider if a judicial role is right for them,
- find out how to prepare for application, and
- understand what is involved in the application process.
This opportunity is open to BACFI members with a minimum of five years post qualification experience. No litigation experience is required.
Applications are particularly welcome from women, BAME lawyers and those who attended a state school and/or are first generation in their family to go to University
This will held as an online webinar using Microsoft Teams.
