One of the highlights of the human rights lawyer’s CPD calendar, the JUSTICE Annual Human Rights Conference offers a key opportunity to update your legal knowledge and gain valuable insight into the human rights developments over the year. This year’s conference will include breakout sessions on judicial review, crime and policing, inquests and inquiries, family law, social welfare, and immigration and asylum. This year’s speakers include: Judge Tim Eicke KC, the UK’s judge on the European Court of Human Rights, I. Stephanie Boyce, President of the Law Society of England and Wales, Lord Pannick KC, Dame Vera Baird DBE KC, Victims’ Commissioner for England and Wales, the Right Reverend James Jones KBE, Allison Munroe KC, HH Wendy Joseph KC, and Dominic Casciani, the BBC’s Home and Legal correspondent.
This Conference will be worth six CPD hours. Virtual tickets include streamed access to the opening keynote session, review of the year, fireside chat, and closing debate, as well as the morning breakout session on Judicial Review and the afternoon session on Crime.
