Over the ‘Covid disruption’ period many barristers have taken stock and considered whether they might be happier and more stimulated in a different environment but lack either the confidence to move or the knowledge as to what might be available and how to get there. This will be a chaired panel discussion featuring the experiences of barristers who have chosen to work outside the standard Chambers structure, whether within a firm or in employment. The panel offers a rich pool of experience from practitioners who moved at different stages of their careers, including Alison Levitt QC who after a period outside Chambers had now resumed practice at 2 Hare Court.
