Wellbeing Event

The Bingham Room

Gray’s Inn, London

 Thursday 13th February 2020

18.00 – 19.30

Professional Speaker: Sandra Hilton

Sandra Hilton is a former solicitor who now runs a psychotherapy practice in the City and consults to global leaders on creating the conditions for self-organising communities to form.

This evening, Sandra will engage us in a conversation about how critical compassion is for us to survive and thrive in the modern world. Drawing on the latest research into self-compassion, in particular, she will explore why this human quality is so under-rated; share her experience of working with her clients’ inner judge and invite us to explore the origin, nature and impact of the judgments we make of ourselves and others.

“We live in a time when science is validating what humans have known throughout the ages: that compassion is not a luxury; it is a necessity for our well-being, resilience and survival.”
Joan Halifax

“We are not the survival of the fittest. We are the survival of the nurtured.” Louis Cozolino
