The High Court’s Judgment in the Law Society’s Judicial Review of the LGFS change
To inform members that the Law Society’s Judicial Review of the Lord Chancellor’s proposal to reduce the PPE threshold from 10,000 to 6000 pages has been successful.
Angela Rafferty QC, CBA Chair, and Chris Henley QC, Vice Chair, have sent messages of warm congratulations to the leaders of the CLSA and the LCCSA.
A particular acknowledgement has been issued to the Law Society for it’s continued resolve as the lead negotiator and funder of this review.
We hope that this outcome will now allow for a more constructive engagement by the MoJ with the professions, and greater priority to and investment in the Criminal Justice System.View more news
