ICCA Bar Course – Junior members of the Bar and 2nd Six pupils
As you may have heard, the ICCA has been working to create online advocacy training sessions for 2nd six pupils during the court closures.
I am delighted to tell you that, from 10 am this morning, 2nd six pupils will be able to book onto an online civil or criminal advocacy training session hosted by the ICCA.
There are 4 places available in each session each with 2 trainers. The trainers are experienced advocacy trainers from the Northern and Midland Circuit.
Sessions will take place at 4:30pm every day from Thursday 23rd April. It is the intention of the ICCA to keep the scheme running until the courts reopen.
The ICCA will be adding more sessions as we go along and pupils should check the ICCA website regularly.
Pupils can book into a session here
We are trying to make the sessions as widely available as possible but there are a lot of 2nd 6 pupils who may wish to access the sessions. We are therefore asking that only those pupils who do not have access to advocacy training within their own Chambers sign up for the ICCA sessions.
