Central Criminal Court Sitting Hours for Friday 9th February 2024

Following a fire at The Central Criminal Court yesterday there is still no power in most of the building.

Replacement parts will need installing in order for the Court to operate as a safe public building.  That will be taking place, but it will not be in place for a safe operation tomorrow.  UK Power remain on site working on the substation.

The Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey) will remain closed on Friday 9th February.

Urgent CTL applications etc will be listed at other courts, but nothing will be listed at the CCC tomorrow.   If you are able to do so, please let the advocates in your cases know the position.

Sitting will resume on Monday 12th February at noon.
