Crown Court Update for Southend & Basildon

If defendants are at court then Counsel should attend in person.  If Counsel cannot attend, CVP attendance will be granted but Counsel must ensure that their contact details are on the side bar on the DCS.

Counsel must ensure that they speak to the other side before the hearing.

Counsel have also been given the facility of being able to speak to their lay client on the phone if they are in custody.
